The World Public Foundation of Animal Rehabilitation and Reintroduction began its work in Ukraine. This is the global eco-protection project, unique for our country.
Among people supporting the ideas underlying the Programmes of Foundation are spiritual and public leaders, representatives of world political arena, influencers, actors, musicians, TV hosts and celebrities. The most known among them: Pope Francis, Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem, secretary general of the European Council of Religious Leaders Stein Villumstad, imam of the European Council of Religious Leaders Shaykh Ibrahim Mogra, CEO of Jordanian Centre of Inter-confessional Coexistence Nabil Hadad, Brigitte Bardot, Pink, Konstantin Khabenskiy, Slava Frolova, Anna Sedokova, Tartak, Pur:Pur and others.
The annual budget of the Foundation makes 4,5 million dollars. For the first time the international organization of such type was headed by the Ukrainian parliamentarian – the famous patron Oleksandr Feldman was appointed as the president of the Foundation, while the Centre for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “ Good Home” on the basis of the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex Feldman Ecopark is the representative in Ukraine.
The Foundation of Animal Rehabilitation and Reintroduction is aimed to develop and promote introduction effective animal- and eco-protection strategies, methodologies and technologies, to develop and introduce programmes of risk zone sharpening on the global map of fauna and flora as well as to rally world community into international animal- and eco-protection network founded on the ideas of unity, variety and codependence of natural resources.
Among the national programmes realized by the Foundation are projects on recruitment of the species listed in the Red Book of Ukraine, on rescue of Cheiropterans, on reintroduction of rare animals of Ukraine; the international programmes, such as projects on preservation of fauna of the rainforest, on animal protection of islands, wetlands, preservation of rare animals of Eurasia, reintroduction of rare animals of Europe, etc.
