The Theatre of Children and Animals of Feldman Ecopark performed a New Year’s performance “The Newest Old Tale.” The first showings of the story about the Snow Queen, which is new for the majority of visitors, took place on Saturday and Sunday, December 24-25. Later, everybody will be able to watch this tale on December 30 and on January 2, 4-5, and 8.
“The Newest Old Tale” is a performance prepared by the whole team of stage directors, script writers, decorators, costumiers, and actors in order not only to sum up the groundwork of the year, but also to congratulate the dear audience by performing a touching show full of New Year’s magic and kindness.
“This story gathered all characters known to children and adults: the Snow Queen, Pippi Longstocking, the snowmen and, of course, Santa Claus. We will not reveal all secrets to keep the intrigue for those who haven’t seen the première yet. But it should be noted that this performance will be really magical for the audience: the heroes will fight for the fulfilment of children’s wishes with all their might overcoming all obstacles prepared by the Snow Queen,” the head of the Theatre of Children and Animals Olena Harazhyna told.
In addition, this weekend, the great New Year’s celebration by the youngest members of the Children’s Ecology and Nature Study Academy of Feldman Ecopark took place. The members of the Pony Club, the Early Childhood Development Center “Growing Up in Ecopark” and the Junior school “The ABC of Nature” watched the New Year’s tale, after which they welcomed Santa Claus with songs, verses and circus performances. In response to such a warm welcome, the wizard awarded children with holiday presents.
Traditionally, this weekend also made the visitors glad with the cheerful competitions, the unique photo shoots for those who wished to try the image of snowboarders on the background of mountains, the rides along the snow-covered paths on the sleigh harnessed with donkeys, ponies and sled dogs. The icing on the cake was the Tree of Wishes. Everyone, who met it during the walk in Ecopark, was able to get a good prediction for the next year from the festive beauty.
