A long-awaited addition to the family of donkeys in Feldman Ecopark appeared on Sunday, June 11.
The head of the farm “Kind Donkey” Anastasiia Kartashova told that a kid (female) was born by the donkey Lyusia. “A foal was born on the night of June 11. We have waited for it for a long time, and now we are trying to find a proper name to it,” Anastasiia told.
It should be reminded that the Kind Donkey farm was opened in the Regional Landscape Park this year. Ten animals (six females and four males) are living here. On weekends and holidays, the visitors of Feldman Ecopark are able to have an excursion along the farm, where they can get closer to these interesting animals, to learn about the peculiarities of their behaviour and the specificity of care. Donkey riding is carried out for children. Some of the animals take an active part in the asinus-therapy programme (a type of animal-assisted therapy) helping the specialists of the Centre of Psychosocial Rehabilitation to cure children.
