At once three inhabitants of a contact yard Feldman Eсopark, the Vietnamese potbellied pigs, gave birth in total to 15 kids. The army of charming piglets together with the affable mothers has temporarily gone to live to more quiet and hidden place – the separate open-air cage.
“Piglets are healthy, strong, persistent “snoops” who are constantly opening the new world for themselves. We examined every piglet – all of them are healthy, – the veterinarian Feldman Ecopark Anna Zhukovskaya tells. – The main heroines of a contact yard, their mothers, Ecopark’s guests won’t be able to see yet – animals need rest and a privacy with the cubs”.
Three more months kids will enjoy mother’s heat and care. After that, pigs will be given to other zoological parks of Ukraine; some of them will be settled in contact yards of Ecopark together with the “star-spangled” mothers.
We will remind that a collection of animals Feldman Ecopark comprises more than 2 000 animals. Some pets live in a contact yard where anyone can come to communicate to fluffy “therapists”: to pat and to feed them. The free zone without barriers allows guests to relax, to unwind by communication with inhabitants of a contact yard: Vietnamese potbellied pigs, Cameroonian, Welsh and domestic goats, sheep, turkey-cocks, storks, peacocks, pigeons, ordinary hens and gold paduans.
