On these two big spring holidays of the past weekend, visitors to the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex became participants of the musical spring programme and traditional festivities carried out on the eve of Great Lent.
On March 8, We Give You Spring! programme including fascinating thematic contests on ingenuity and dexterity, outdoor games as well as stirring dances and sonorous singing took place in Feldman Ecopark. In its wake, one more musical All Dance! show for everyone – from young to old immediately started. At the same time, everyone was able to visit a master class on creation of flowers from balls for modeling and festive cards.
Besides, the Theatre of Children and Animals Feldman Ecopark showed special On Wings of Spring performance devoted to the International Women’s Day. Next day, young actors together with their quadruped and feathery colleagues prepared Pancake Sunday performance devoted to the coming holiday.
“As known, Maslenitsa is among the most popular national holidays and therefore the set of still remembered and supported traditions is connected with it. We chose the brightest and cheerful customs and thus prepared the Sunday programme” — the organizers of the festivities told.
This Sunday, the Host and the Hostess welcomed Feldman Ecopark’s guests and suggested to visit specially decorated location and a photo zone in traditional Ukrainian style. At the same time memento photos were printed out right there.
In other locations prepared specially for a holiday, Feldman Ecopark’s guests with pleasure took part in Cossack competitions: threw horseshoes and brooms, participated in sack fights. A master class in creation of thematic national souvenirs was held in the creative location.
The special location was devoted to tradition of the Shrove Sunday. Here everyone was able to put offenses into a Pancake cube and let them burned down together with Maslenitsa jackstraw. That’s became an effective completion of this momentous day.
