On this day 22 years ago, we obtained the Basic Law, which guarantees the rights and freedoms, and which finally confirmed the independence of European state in Ukraine.
Constitution Day is not just a formal red-letter day in a calendar. During this very difficult for each of use time, it is clear, as never before, that the chaos and lawlessness are the main enemies of statehood. And exactly the Basic Law must become the cornerstone, the ground, which will unite everyone to overcome the crisis. The main thing remaining is to guarantee the strict observance of the rights declared by the Constitution. All of our efforts must be focused exactly on this now. And only after achieving this, we will be able to build a free, fair and rich society.
