Pupils from Prykarpattia will become volunteers Feldman Ecopark

The pupils from Sambir and other towns of the Lviv oblast who have recently visited the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex expressed a wish to become members of the team Feldman Ecopark and to develop its projects at home. They arrived at Kharkiv for a tour by the invitation of the Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Feldman with whom they got acquainted in Strasbourg during the side event “Development of the European paradigm ‘Humanity and nature’ in Ukraine”. According to the parliamentarian, the Ukrainian politicians should form the united nation with the help of real actions, uniting younger generation by clear and intelligible good deeds, but not appeals.

“Our multi-complex and foundation are engaged in assistance to children with special needs, rescue of animals in distress, preservation and return to the nature of rare fauna species. And this is exactly what we can offer children as a creative work making sense and value — Oleksandr Feldman emphasized. — The principles of tolerance, humanity, solidarity are the cornerstone of projects which we want to distribute through the whole country by means of the youth volunteer movement and we are glad that its ranks were joined by young adherents from the Western Ukraine”.

It should be noted that the guests from Prykarpattia were previously familiar with the main activities of the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex, and during the visit they could see live and communicate to heads of nature protection projects. Besides, they attended the performance of the Theatre of Children and Animals and managed to make friends with the Kharkiv age-mates, the young naturalists who study in Children’s Ecology and Nature Study Academy. Children decided to share the Feldman Ecopark’s ideas together and to work on creation of its branches in different regions of Ukraine. Besides, an informative tour was conducted for young galicians, the majority of which visited Slobozhanshchina for the first time. The guests saw the monument to Taras Shevchenko, best in the world, the biggest Freedom Square in Europe, the well-known theatre “Berezil” and other historical sights of the Ukrainian Kharkiv.

It should be reminded that at the beginning of October during the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg took place the side event “Development of the European paradigm ‘Humanity and nature’ in Ukraine”. The Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Feldman presented to parliamentarians of 10 European countries the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex Feldman Ecopark, which carries out its activities in our country for 7 years. A number of humanitarian and nature protection projects are developed and successfully launched on its base. The most ambitious of them are the Centre for Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Children’s Ecology and Nature Study Academy, Centre for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Good Home”, Centre for Chiroptera Rehabilitation. Starting from 2018, Feldman Ecopark actively cooperates with the World Open Foundation for Animal Rehabilitation and Reintroduction (WOFARR).
