Psychologists Invite to Fight Spleen in Feldman Ecopark

The specialists of the Feldman Ecopark Centre for Psychosocial Rehabilitation propose to fight seasonal spleen in the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex. According to them, here everyone can find all needed conditions for normalization of psychoemotional state with the help of natural and preformed factors, the method of complex use of which is called eco-therapy.

“Seasonal mood disorders are the depressive states, which become more intense with the change of seasons. This phenomenon is typical for the beginning of autumn and the end of winter. Emotional tone worsening during the day, fatiguability, impaired productivity may be considered as the signs of rising spleen. Moreover, sleep and appetite disorders, difficulties in attention focusing are also possible,” the head of the medical service of the Feldman Ecopark Centre for Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Ph.D. (Medicine) Inna Vashkite told. “In order to prevent these conditions, it is recommended to actively spend leisure outdoors, to enjoy the beauty of the nature awakening after winter, to communicate with our four-legged friends, to focus on the positive emotions caused by spring.”

Psychologists note that seasonal depression may be overcome with the help of cheerful and noisy holidays, playing the games with children, funny competitions and joint treats – everything that gives positive emotions.

“All these pleasures may be found in full in Feldman Ecopark. Come here and we will not allow your spleen to win!” the Centre’s specialists guarantee.

It should be reminded that the Centre for Psychosocial Rehabilitation was opened in the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex in 2013. It provides assistance to children and adults, including the families of IDPs and ATO veterans. Its main know-how is the use of therapeutic properties of communication with the nature and animals. This method is called eco-therapy.
