“Nash Krai” has never set a task to become opposition by all means. This was stated in the interview to the Vremia newspaper by the Ukrainian MP, the co-chairman of the political party “Nash Krai” Oleksandr Feldman.
“Our initial position was not oppositional to one or another political force, or one or another representative of authorities,” the politician notes. “We are in the opposition to a problem and to those who do not want or who cannot solve it. Regardless of a person and a political force.”
The MP also emphasized that he strongly objects so-called “show” accompanied by shouting, démarche, session blocking, etc.
“I should say that sometimes I am ashamed of the behaviour of my colleagues in the Verkhovna Rada. Any normal person may feel only disgust and indignation looking at this. I cannot even imagine a doctor, a teacher, a manager, a driver venturing similar behaviour on his or her workplace. In case of the ‘people’s deputies’ and the members of government, this became a usual practice that does not surprise anyone,” the MP notes.
According to his words, nothing changes after these “shows”, and “people are already sick of the show-off opposition.”
According to the politician, “each question, each problem does not require a show, it requires laborious work, which will not be demonstrated on TV.”
“For the solution of vital problems, it is necessary to abandon own political and personal ambitions and to unite for the achievement of the result. Political responsibility lies exactly in this,” Oleksandr Feldman states.
