A methodological workshop devoted to the peculiarities of grant applications for the public platform “All-Ukrainian Union “Public Initiatives” will take place on September 28 in the Vremia Media Centre (72, Sumska str., Kharkiv). The event starts at 2 p.m.
“We call on all like-minded people to join the creation of a new platform for the development of democracy and civil society combined with citizen journalism. This workshop has been arranged for them,” Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Feldman notes. “All enterprising people are able to take part in the event – volunteers, lawyers, mass media, representatives of NGOs, foundations, condominiums, territorial communities, and other public unions. Fortunately, there are a lot of people in Kharkiv knowing what and how to do for the native city and the country, and who are ready to spend time on this, to use own experience and knowledge. And we want to help exactly them to receive funding for the implementation of their initiatives.”
It should be reminded that project funding within the frameworks of “Public Initiatives” will be carried out based on grants with the obligatory procedure of open competition. The first tranche has already been allocated by the International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation.”
“We are going to tell during our first methodological workshop how to make applications properly, how to prepare the necessary documents for a grant of “Public Initiatives” and how to undergo the procedure of open competition,” the coordinator of “All-Ukrainian Union “Public Initiatives” Serhii Burlakov told.
