Feldman Ecopark invites everyone to take part in the open orienteering championship within the “My Eco-path” program. The program is implemented under the aegis of the International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation” as one of the directions of his long-term sports and social project “1000 Team’s Tournament”.
“We invite everyone who loves run and orienteering to our Eco-path. In any weather, at all seasons of the year the Feldman Ecopark is the best place for sport and active recreation. Bring the whole family, together with your friends – we’re waiting for you!”, – the organizers of competitions declare.
The competitions will begin on November 11 at 11:00 and will pass in a duathlon format: at first the track-and-field cross-country (cross-country run), and then the orienteering. Various distances of a running (2 km, 4 km, 6 km, 10 km) and physical activities are provided for participants, depending on their state of health and level of athletic performance, – persons interested will be able to replace run with walking during the orienteering stage in the forest.take place in Feldman Ecopark on November 11 and 25, and then on December 9 and 23.
“The program Feldman Ecopark “My Eco-path”, except an important sports component has the big social importance. It has already caused a resonance among a number of public organizations working in the sphere of shaping a healthy lifestyle among the population. So, NGO “FORPOST PUBLIC SAFETY” activists among whom there are participants of anti-terrorist operation became constant participants of the orienteering competitions. They actively joined in organization of activities within our program, – the head of the “My Eco-path” program Sergey Beloskursky told. – Besides, we have already reached preliminary agreements on carrying out friendly games, sports meets between various Kharkiv public organizations. Such superiority among volunteers and activists can be held in the spring of 2017″.
Let’s remind that the sport orienteering develops in Feldman Ecopark since 2015 as a part of the “1000 Team’s Tournament”. Two times a year the Orienteering Festival takes place here; about 50 000 residents of Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region participated in it. Within implementation of the “My Eco-path” program the creation of the International Sport Orienteering Center and development of orienteering sections on the basis of regular schools is planned.
