In Feldman Ecopark the new bright inhabitant – a three-year-old male of noble parrot appeared, also this species is called an Eclectus. The bird was brought by residents of Kharkiv who early held a bird at home. Because of moving the family had to leave a pet in the First Capital and to entrust it to skilled experts Feldman Ecopark.
“We regularly accept different birds: as the wild, demanding professional treatment and care, and domestic which just need the new home. This male of a noble parrot perfectly added the company of the relatives in Feldman Ecopark. After the survey and necessary procedures, the parrot lodged to the poultry house where, I will note, immediately accustomed: he already competes in singing abilities with neighbors up hill and down dale, with excellent appetite regales on fruit, vegetables and cereals”, – the veterinarian Feldman Ecopark Anna Zhukovskaya says.
Eclectus noble parrots are sociable, contact and very thermophilic birds. Surprisingly bright and beautiful plumage is in complete harmony with ingenuity of these birds: they can pronounce several words.
We will note that now three noble parrots live in Feldman Ecopark. The collection Feldman Ecopark totals more than 1 500 birds.
