Seven mottled piglets became the real surprise, which the piggy Agata acting in the Feldman Ecopark’s Theatre of Children and Animals and also known as an adoptive mother for the lamb Riskey brought in the previous week.
“That came as a big surprise to everyone; we thought that Agata has just put on some weight. As it turned out, she hid the pregnancy and went on the stage in that position. We found out her expecting the posterity when she has already dropped piglets. Their father, boar Vintik, also performs in the theatre. Kids were born very different, one are pink-gray similar to the mother, others are black as their father, couple of piglets are painted black with red strips as the real wild pigs, and there is even a spotted piglet. They are yet unnamed. Meanwhile they grow: eat, sleep and walk together with their mother, the visitors Feldman Ecopark can see them” — Anna Garazhina, the head of the circles “Grow in Ecopark” and “Alphabet of Nature” of the Theatre of Children and Animals told.
The audience of Theatre of Children and Animals know that Agata is always happy to perform on the stage. During the performances it dances waltz, stands on a curbstone, chooses cards with the necessary animal or plant by order. The father enjoys performing in public too, it is able to unwind a rug, dances waltz and carries out other tricks.
Until the piglets grow up, Agata will not perform on stage. If any of piglets remains with mother, it will also continue an actor’s dynasty and will perform on the stage of the Feldman Ecopark’s Theatre of Children and Animals.
