It grew colder and the All-Ukrainian Service for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home” has more work to do as our four-legged friends need human help and care more in order to go through the severe season, when frost and food-deficiency threaten their lives.
During the last two weeks, Good Home delivered food for animals in 20 mini-shelters across Kharkiv oblast, the head of the All-Ukrainian Service for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home” Iryna Podvoiska informed. “It is important to note that many people and even organizations wish to help us to take care of animals. Not only animal protection circles, but also common citizens know about Good Home, and now, people come to us not only to ask for help, they also propose their assistance,” Iryna Podvoiska says.
Feldman Ecopark Good Home continues its work in search of owners for stray animals. While the campaign “Saving a Life You Find a Friend!” has mainly been hosted on the territory of the Regional Landscape Park earlier, today, this activity is performed online. “We advise everyone who asks for help. Once a week (two or three times a week are in plans) we make studio photos of animals, which are temporary protected by volunteers. These photos accompanied with the information about our four-legged friends are published in the Internet and mass media. This favours quick and safe ‘settlement’ of animals in new families,” Iryna Podvoiska told noting that the number of concerned residents of Kharkiv coming to Feldman Ecopark Good Home increased.
In should be reminded that during the campaign “Saving a Life You Find a Friend!” which took place in Feldman Ecopark from May to October every weekend, the All-Ukrainian Service for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home” helped 600 animals to find their new homes. During six years of the project, the total of over 15,000 dogs, cats, rabbits and other pets found home with its help.
