As of this spring the Feldman Ecopark offers the visitors new active recreation – passing of the cycle trail for a cross-country, a type of a mountain bike. The trail is prepared in such a way that not only skilled athletes can be interested in it. The trail is available to all fans of cycle riding.
The cycle trail construction in the Feldman Ecopark has begun beyond the Swan Lake last December. In January the first phase of a trail – the kilometer traffic circle including counter slopes, blinders and drops has been open.
Full length of the new cycle trail which opening will take place on April 2, totals 3 245 m and 48 m in-climb. It is equipped with 12 blinders with a total length more than 150 m, three timbered sections and also counter slopes, steps and loops.
“The trail is constructed in the picturesque place on the shore of the lake and allows to hold high level competitions, but at the same time it is arranged in such a way that the cyclists without special skills and experience of a mountain bike can also use it. Therefore we invite everyone to the “Crazy bike” cycle trail opening and offer to seize the opportunity to pass this fascinating trail individually. In preparing the trail we tried to arrange everything for the people’s interest.” — the project manager Oleksii Korchak says.
Persons wishing to participate in the opening of the new cycle trail “Crazy bike” are offered to gather on bicycles and in necessary sport outfit at 11:00 at the Monument to bicyclists on Belgorodskoye Shose or at 12:00 in front of the Feldman Ecopark’s central entrance.
The new ecological Feldman Crazy Bikes project initiated by the International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman’s Foundation” within the 1000 Teams Tournament program is aimed to gather in one place of bicyclists of different directions, promotion of healthy lifestyles and active recreation, competitions, quests and other cycle events, construction of cycle trails for different riding styles etc.
