In the evening of May 21, the projects of the International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation” joined the Night of Museums international event. The residents and the guests of the city of Kharkiv were proposed to expand the ideas of museums and cultural landscapes spending the night together with animals.
In the AVEC Gallery, the guests learned how to create the images of strange creatures: kids and adults gladly coloured the fairy-tale silhouettes prepared by the organizers. Everyone was also able to know something new about the life of and the works by Vsevolod Averin, the outstanding Kharkiv animal painter. The main event of the evening was the presentation of the Eco-palette photo exhibition – the walls of the atrium were decorated with the pictures of animals, birds and reptiles living in the Feldman Ecopark. The guests were able to supplement the exposition with own photos: in order to make the composition complete and merging into the general ideal of the exposition, the visitors were able to use the magic art frame and decorate the shoot with vivid fauna representatives of the Regional Landscape Park. A turtle, a boa, a parrot, a ferret and a monkey arrived from the Ecopark to provide the guests of the AVEC Gallery with the special opportunity to make selfie with them.
It was possible to meet the other numerous characters of the Eco-palette exhibition during the exclusive evening tours through the picturesque territory of the Feldman Ecopark.
“The majority of predators, some herbivores and birds are nocturnal animals. It is rare opportunity for the city dwellers to see them during their active life and to listen to the mysterious sounds of a twilight forest. And we provided this opportunity to everyone. I am sure that it is interesting for both adults and especially children,” Oleksandr Feldman, the founder of the Ecopark told.
According to his words, these evening open-air walks is a wonderful way to spend the family evening usefully and healthily. The Night of Museum was closed with the grandiose fire show.
