Feldman Eсopark is to Open Kazka Fest
The press conference of project organizers will take place on July 31 in the Vremia Media Centre (72, Sumska str., Kharkiv). The event starts at noon.

In August the International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation,” with support of Culture Foundation within frameworks of its programme “Milestone Events for Ukrainian Culture” launches new cultural project of national scope — The Kazka Fest. Every weekend of the last summer month literary readings, book fair, theatrical performances, concerts, kazka-therapy, art quests, master classes and other events will take place in the territory of the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex Feldman Ecopark. All events will be weekly advertised in detail on Feldman Ecopark’s website, Facebook and Instagram pages.

According to organizers, The Kazka Fest project is aimed at promoting of the Ukrainian book through adjacent art forms and entertaining activities. Performances of the Kharkiv drama schools and theaters (Maly puppet theatre, Puzzle theatre, etc.), cartoon and animation master classes, concerts, creative meetings with modern authors of children’s fairy tales, who will read their works to public and many other things are planned.

“This project is directed to formation in younger generation the need for reading, creativity, art. Fairy tale as a literary form, most available to child, allows touching the hearts of young Ukrainians and to make them fall in love with classical and modern Ukrainian culture since childhood, – the organizers of The Kazka Fest explained. – A fairy tale, slightly transcending frameworks of reality, develops fantasy, imagination, creativity and forms person’s identity, remaining relevant in our globalized world of gadgets and social networks.”
An important component of the project are its psychorehabilitation and mentally developing elements. Specialists of Feldman Ecopark Centre for Psychosocial Rehabilitation will held therapy lessons by reading fairy tales for little and adult guests to Kazka Fest.

“A fairy tale is the first in human life contact with culture forming ethical and esthetic criteria. It learns to distinguish evil and good, answers existential questions in simple words, helps to cope with everyday problems, – organizers of The Kazka Fest noted. – Not only children, but also adults can understand themselves, find a way out of various everyday difficulties and recreate positive relations in family by means of reading fairy tales. Psychotherapists have long applied this phenomenon in their work. Our guests will be able to feel its curative effect, as well.”

It should be noted that the Ukrainian Culture Foundation is engaged in implementation of the new arrangements for granting of competitive state support to culture and creative-related initiatives, promoting creation of developed eco-system of culture and creativity in Ukraine. Besides, the Foundation deals with preservation of spiritual heritage and development of national culture in the context of current global trends. It should be also noted that the International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation” got support of UCF for implementation of The Kazka Fest project according to “Milestone Events for Ukrainian Culture” programme.
