May holidays in Feldman Ecopark started with the festival of arts. The organizers planned a lot of interactive surprises before the International Dance Day and International Jazz Day. The festivities lasted from April 28 to May 2.
During these days, the visitors were able to learn one of the hottest dances in the world originated from hot Latin America – salsa. The secrets of the art of a couple dance were revealed by the skilled masters from the school “Salsa Loca.”
For those who like live music, a touching concert “In Harmony with the Nature” took place near the pond with black swans. The guests were able to enjoy the saxophone and clarinet masterly performances. Those who couldn’t hold back their feelings were able to invite a couple to a low dance.
The artists of the Horse Complex and the Theatre of Children and Animals also made their impressive performances.
The entertainments were enhanced with a scientific show, the holiday of soap bubbles, and origami master classes.
The special event during the festival was this year’s first campaigns “Saving the Life You Find a Friend” aimed at the settlement of stray animals. The organizer is the All-Ukrainian Service for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home.” Thanks to these campaigns, 24 dogs and cats found their new owners.
The four-day holiday was ended by unusual championship. Everyone was able to plunge into the recent past and remember the legendary yard games: hopscotch, Chinese jump rope, checks, and domino.
“The childhood games championship is some kind of a nostalgic interactive programme aimed at the demonstration of the fact that digital technologies have captured our minds, our time, our society,” the director of Feldman Ecopark Andrii Roshchupkin said. “We started to communicate with our friends, relatives, nature less, often moving everything to the background. However, there are so many emotions in the real life, which cannot be given by all those gadgets. The entire four-day-long programme was arranged so that the guests were able to forget their smartphones, to listen to the sounds of nature and instrumental music, to dance, and just to enjoy their rest.”
It should be reminded that Feldman Ecopark will continue celebrating May holidays with the big show “One Victory for Everyone,” which will take place on May 6-9.
