This weekend, October 8-9, the 5th Chrysanthemum Ball will take place in the Feldman Ecopark. 30,000 flowers will be presented at the anniversary festival of floral art. The visitors will be able to admire the artistic compositions in the shape of monkeys, hares, bears, pigs, deer, turtles, ladybirds, and others. The special photo zone with the huge heart-shaped composition made of large disbudded chrysanthemums will be the special appeal of the event.
“This romantic corner will not only become a beautiful background for the photos. We are sure that there is no better place in Kharkiv and outside to make a declaration of love and to make a proposal!” the organizers of the event say.
It should be noted that there will be more than a dozen of floral images at the Chrysanthemum Ball. The florist used nearly a thousand single-flowered chrysanthemums for each of them.
The organizers promise that the guests will plunge into the fascinating fairy tale atmosphere at the entrance: they will be entertained by playful mimes, cheerful characters from cartoons and graceful heroes in subtle ball costumes.
The artists of the Feldman Ecopark – the Horse Complex and the Theatre of Children and Animals – will also surprise the guests with the special festive performances prepared for the parade of flowers. It will be possible to watch the shows performed by the stars of the Ecopark and their tutors at 12.00 noon (Theatre of Children and Animals) and at 1.00 p.m. (Horse Complex).
The weekend programme will be supplemented with the series of master classes for the whole family in the City of Masters and the Enjoyable Path art zones.
In addition, the drawing of valuable presents is also prepared for the visitors: the festive lottery will be held on Saturday and Sunday at 12.00 noon and 4.00 p.m.
