There is an addition to the family of rare felines of the Feldman Ecopark: Siberian tiger Daleela gave birth to four cubs – two females and two males.
The tiger cubs are currently under the twenty-four-hour surveillance of vets and the workers caring animals of the Ecopark. During the feeding, young predators with their mother will live in separate close premises.
In two month, the cubs will be vaccinated for the first time, and will undergo the important medical procedures saving them from various infections and diseases. After that, they will be able to go outside, where the visitors of the Feldman Ecopark may meet them.
According to the words of the specialists, as soon as the cubs get stronger enough for the independent life, they will be presented to the zoos of Ukraine and other countries.
It should be reminded that last year, Daleela also gave birth to four tiger cubs. One of them – Limba – is living in the Regional landscape park Feldman Ecopark, while the others were presented to the zoological parks of Ukraine.
It should be noted that today, the collection of the Feldman Ecopark has 10 tigers, including two Bengal white tigers and eight Siberian tigers. It should be reminded that the Siberian tiger is also known as the Amur tiger, and it is one of the least numerous tiger subspecies. It is in the Red List of the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
