Working with servicemen who returned from the area of combat operations, the psychologist of the regional landscape park Feldman Еcopark use animal therapy, landscape therapy, group trainings and individual lessons. These methods are used by the specialists of the Feldman Еcopark Centre of psychosocial rehabilitation in order to help the defenders of Ukraine to return to peaceful life.
“Currently, we are mainly working with those soldiers who undergo rehabilitation courses in the clinical health resort ‘Berminvody’,” says the Candidate of Psychological Sciences Tetiana Aliieva. “Visiting Feldman Еcopark, they undergo the special program based on wildlife contact. Thus, the standard group lessons on the territory of health resort are mixed with the non-standard methods of psychocorrection, like hippotherapy, canis therapy, which, in turn, increase the rehabilitation potential of each participant of the program.”
According to the words of the Candidate of Medical Science, psychotherapist Inna Vashkite, the healing properties of these visits must favour the stabilization of psychoemotional condition of people who saw death and who suffered from stress and pain. For this purpose, the Feldman Еcopark created all the necessary conditions and, first of all, the atmosphere of peace, love and friendship.
The initiator of the project of the ICF “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation” plans to establish the all-Ukrainian Centre of psychosocial rehabilitation for the ATO veterans in the regional landscape park, and expects the cooperation with government institutions, international organizations, expert community, and volunteers.
