The Center of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Feldman Ecopark carried out the next cycle of training for specialists on educational, social and psychological work with human resources offices of penitentiary facilities management of the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region. Seminar subject: “Origins and methods of overcoming of professional burnout of personnel of the State Penal Service of Ukraine”.
Specialists of the Center, the candidate of psychological sciences Tatyana Aliyeva and the candidate of medical sciences Inna Vashkite prepared the program of a seminar which consisted of lecture and training occupations.
According to Tatyana Aliyeva, the main task of a seminar was forming in specialists of a complete picture of ideas about the methods of stress management as a measure of prevention of professional burnout.
“Work of Penitentiary Service’s staff is difficult and specific therefore the problem of professional burnout is very actual for them. We drew attention to the fact that they should find more time and attention towards themselves for psychological recovery, – Inna Vashkite tells. – And visit Feldman Ecopark with its unique recreational opportunities, walks outdoors and communication with animals is a very good method of stress prevention”.
Before lecture the specialists of Penitentiary Service were given an excursion at Ecopark during which they could be convinced of beneficial influence of environment. After a seminar specialists discussed results of work and offered further cooperation with specialists of the Center of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Feldman Ecopark.
