Campaign devoted to Stray Animals Day and Children’s Book Fair took place in Feldman Ecopark

Everyone who joined the campaign “Do More!” devoted to the World Stray Animals Day that was launched in the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex on August 19 was able to do great thing for the little friend needing care.

The organizers of the campaign “Do More!” suggested everyone to participate in it and to bring cereals to cook food for stray animals, a special forage, leashes, dog collars, toys and other necessary things, or to make any financial contribution to the moneyboxes of the Good Home in order to give all funds raised during the campaign to Kharkiv’s mini-shelters.

The main event of the day was the Outdoor Home Concert – a concert, during which the collectives took the stage, and Feldman Ecopark’s friends came to take part in time for an open mic. Instrumental music was replaced by songs, vocal numbers followed after a guitar, a clarinet, a saxophone.

Within the campaign “Do More!”, classical music sounded in the Swan Lake pavilion. Besides, the open-air art studio, the master classes in cards creation, mehendi and clay modeling were open during the weekend.

The campaign “Do More!” didn’t leave indifferent Sunday guests to the Feldman Ecopark. According to the organizers, we managed to collect more than a half-ton of various forage, considerable quantity of things necessary for pet management and money as well.
The big book fair – a festival of children’s book KidsBook Weekend took place in Feldman Ecopark during the weekend. More than twenty publishing houses from Kharkiv and other cities of Ukraine specializing in literature for children and youth presented their production. The guests were able to purchase educational, popular, developing and art children’s literature as well.

Besides, on Sunday, the Feldman Ecopark became the place for the group gathering of children aged from 12 to 14 from IDP families living in Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region who prepare for the trip to Germany organized by the Red Cross. Among them – the children from incomplete and large families. The members of the Red Cross chose Feldman Ecopark for preliminary acquaintance of volunteers who will accompany the group with children and their parents.

“Today we arrived the huge company, about 70 people to get acquainted closer, to recognize each other. We’ve deliberately chosen Feldman Ecopark, as the place for such acquaintance: in nature, where it is easy for both children, and adults to communicate, and we always take away positive emotions ” — the head of the Kharkiv Regional Organization of the Red Cross Society in Ukraine Konstantin Bashkirov says. Except new acquaintances, a fascinating walking tour along the Feldman Ecopark waited for children and their parents.

The visitors to the Theatre of Children and Animals were able to see the premiere of the show “The Fairy-Tale Book”. The Theatre’s artists, having left a stage, came to the Fairy-Tale Glade for communication with the devoted audience.
