Young project participants “The City of Masters” showed the creative achievements to public. The exhibition of their works opened last Sunday in Feldman Ecopark in the territory of the Horse Complex. In the same place were arranged master classes for all comers to learn needlework art. Also the new hand-made direction of “The City of Masters” – products from natural materials was presented.
According to teachers of the project, it is very popular now and perspective direction of needlework. It develops imagination, creative capabilities of children, teaches them to find unexpected opportunities for implementation of imaginations in simple things.
“This useful entertainment cultivates child’s art thinking – accustoms to notice fine in the surrounding nature, – the teacher of “The City of Masters” Feldman Ecopark Vladlena Gritsenko told. – We work with children of different age, starting with a year aged, accompanied by mothers. For the smallest initially this is development of small motility, creative skills, an outlook, assiduity, colorful perception of world around. We, also, show how to do pictures of natural materials; we teach weaving from a rod, to create rag dolls. We offer very fertile ground for creativity”.
We will remind that summer hand-made school “The City of Masters” opened in Feldman Ecopark on July 10. In the groups united by the project, children of all age study the famous and actual techniques of needlework, making the best of their leisure-time.
Work of groups is conducted in several directions: plasticine graphics, origami, a quilling – pictures from paper strips, twisting – work with balloons, a mini-sculpture and others.
All children of Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region can enter for “The City of Masters”. Quite recently, on August 20, teachers of the project visited the Cherkasskaya Lozova (Dergachevsky district). Together with representatives of other directions Feldman Ecopark (the Theater of Children and Animals, the School of Young Cynologist) they presented to local children a big and bright holiday, and also invited to become pupils of the project.
And on August 28 in the Club of Young Naturalists and in the Horse complex will be the Open Day during which it will be possible to learn, including what they will be engaged in “The city of masters” during all forthcoming academic year.
