On Sunday, October 1, the Regional Landscape Park hosted a dog show, competitions and performances by cynologists and their pets. The event was carried out within the breed show arranged by the Priroda club under the auspices of the International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation.”
According to Valerii Uvarov, the director of the kennel Santa House Feldman, it is an exhibition performance, which is aimed at attracting attention of as many people as possible even if they are far from cynology in order to demonstrate the abilities of our four-legged friends.
According to the results of the breed show in each of age categories – puppies, juniors, and adults – the winners were selected. An adult dog, which wins the first place at the show (which means that it meets the criteria of a breed), becomes a champion of the Priroda club, which is the member of Ukrainian Kennel Union. It should be also noted that all of the participants of the show were awarded with certificates with the assessment from the cynologists of the world association FCI and the presents.
“I think that it was pleasant for all participants of the show and exhibition performances to obtain presents from Oleksandr Feldman’s International Charitable Foundation. More than 150 dogs of all breeds took part in the event, and the animals from Santa House Feldman reached high results, as it was expected. We didn’t expect that great number of participants and visitors at the show and at the exhibition performances, which, I am sure, were interesting not only for the professionals, but also for the general public,” Valerii Uvarov told.
Our four-legged friends demonstrated to the visitors of Feldman Ecopark their guarding skills, the ability to catch a frisbee at the freestyle competition, the abilities to overcome obstacles during the agility trials. Moreover, the best dog groomer competitions also took place during the event, as well as the handler competitions (the best expert in pedigree dogs presentation at shows), the children’s drawing competition, the dances with dogs, and the competition “A Child and a Dog.”
