This weekend unusual and mysterious things took place in Feldman Eсopark preceding a little bit ominous but very cheerful Halloween holiday: wizards shared the secrets, otherworldly entities entertained visitors who also could check their magic abilities participating in competitions and quests.
The Lord of Darkness specially arrived for these days to the Regional Landscape Park to announce the enrollment in the School of Magic and Witchery. The magic school programme included micro magic courses from the conjurer who not only showed different miracles but also was ready to share some of the secrets. Besides, having visited master classes, it was possible to learn how to make Halloween pumpkins from clay and to braid magic bracelets. The School of Rock showed how to scare away extra intrusive evil spirits by means of loud rhythmic music.
The cheerful and unformidable quest “Five fingers of a skeleton” offered commands of visitors, whether a family or a company of friends, to pass the tests one by one. Among them, the cube with the stretched ropes. The participant had to squeeze himself in such a way as the bound hand bell didn’t ring; the master class in turning of lollipops into pumpkins, in the Panic Room one had to find five spiders and to bring them to the skeleton from the maze with a monster.
“Since childhood, we all love horror stories which excite imagination and therefore the Halloween quickly found popularity in our country and already became a part of mass culture. On the other hand, for many it is an opportunity to unlock creativity from an unexpected side. Therefore we tried to make all the activities funny and creative as much as possible.” — the director of the Feldman Ecopark Andrii Roshchupkin says.
The Theatre of Children and Animals was also prepared for the Halloween, having conducted for the Feldman Ecopark’s guests an interactive tour with gifts for animals and showed the performance “Bugaboo”, where not only the actors, but also the spectators got roles.
Besides, the cheerful thematic games have been organized for the visitors, among them: the pumpkin memo “Beat Vampire”, and the Kindest Ghost invited everyone to visit the photo zone where it was possible to take photos, having tried on costumes of witches or sorcerers.
“Western show” unique competitions were held in the Horse Complex Feldman Ecopark. In the first day of competitions the smallest pupils of the Club showed their skills astride a pony. In the second day the riders aged from 11 to 18 years and even trainers came on a trim trail. The participants of the closed club tournament together with their four-footed partners overcame natural obstacles – streamlets, bridges, haystacks, carried out such tasks as backward running, opening of a gate and other things that the farmers do being astride. This is the main difference of such competitions from show-jumping, the organizers say and hope that these competitions will become open in the coming year.
