Last weekend, the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex Feldman Ecopark together with the guests for two days returned to the romantic epoch of noble gentlemen and beautiful ladies. Here everyone was able to see the real knight tournament, to participate in thematic master classes, and even to feel like a famous character, “fateful” for those times.
Guests from the Knight Club “Sharukan” helped to recreate the unique Middle Age atmosphere in Feldman Ecopark. The audience was able to appreciate fully their gripping duels in medieval armor with mastery of shields and swords. Besides, “Sharukan” knights offered to the audience an opportunity to try the medieval costumes on and to hold weapon which people used nearly a millennium ago.
In Feldman Ecopark’s another location the visitors were able to visit Robin Hood from the Sherwood Forest. Here, it was possible to test skill and accuracy in real English bow shooting.
In order to feel like the hero of numerous ballads, it was worth going to a photo zone where it was possible to take memento photos in costumes of Robin Hood or his companion lady Marian as well as in costumes of knights or beautiful princesses.
“The Middle Ages remained in the memory of humankind, first of all, as a romantic and heroic epoch in which knights rescue beautiful ladies, killing a dragon without fear and beyond reproach. It became a symbol of gentlehood and high feelings” — the organizers of the event say. By the way, one of master classes was devoted to dragons, to be more exact, to creation of their tiny figures as amulets with a mandrake root inside. The participants of other master classes practiced in clay modeling and mehendi. Everyone could learn ancient dances, such as Polka and PAS-DE-GRACE.
The award ceremony for the winners of a photo contest, which was carried out within the framework of the campaign “Night of Museums,” took place on Sunday, as well. Three winners, whose photos placed in Instagram, have gained the greatest number of likes, won memorable gifts.
Moreover, as usual, this weekend, the run bikes rental centre was opened for children in Feldman Ecopark, the visitors participated in “Wet Games”, painted in the open-air art studio and listened to music in the Swan Lake pavilion.
