Last weekend, the visitors of the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex competed in fast watermelon eating and cutting of flowers from watermelon flesh and finally, won prizes (watermelons).
On Saturday and Sunday, unusual and cheerful festive programme devoted to well-liked watermelons waited the guests to Feldman Ecopark.
“What other fruit can best symbolize a rich harvest of last summer if not a juicy and sweet watermelon? – the organizers of the festivities in Feldman Ecopark tell. – So, this weekend we decided to give a real “Watermelon Alarm”. This was the title of the festive programme.”
Taking part in a comic game programme, fans of watermelons really “give vent to feelings” during the fast watermelon eating competitions “I love watermelon faster!”, owners of vivid imagination tried power of imagination at the creative contest “Everything looks like a watermelon”. Men were offered to test the strength and endurance, holding a watermelon on outstretched arms. The longest-standing participant took a watermelon with himself. The participants of a special relay with balls painted as watermelons underwent a test for dexterity and speed.
Moreover, master classes of this weekend in Feldman Ecopark were devoted to a watermelon subject. The visitors of a master class in carving learned to cut out a rose from watermelon flesh. Besides, traditional bracelet plaiting, clay modeling, and a master class on the creation of nice cardboard watermelon boxes took place on the Enjoyable Path.
Our old friends from the circus studio “Neposedy” gave fiery performance to the visitors to Feldman Ecopark. Young actors didn’t leave the stage empty-handed, having taken with them watermelons.
On Sturday, the Theatre of Children and Animals made a performance “Cheerful Kaleidoscope”. On Sunday, a premiere of the performance “Story of Snow White” took place. Before a premiere, the guests were able to see a photo exhibition competition “The Nature of Kharkiv Region” prepared by the collectives “The ABC of Nature” and the senior group of the Theatre of Children and Animals.
