Competitions in cross-country skiing, the Feldman Ecopark Open cup will take place on January 27, in the territory of the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex. Registration of participants will begin from 9 a.m., the official start of races will be at 11 a.m., right after the general musical warm-up. “Both professionals, and amateurs are invited to participation. Level of training and age limits can be minimal. Each category will have individual distance” — the organizers of the competitions tell. It should be noted that races would take place in a recreational zone Feldman Ecopark. A route of a ski track (1, 300 meters long) passes near animal collection enclosures, horse arenas and in the territory of Eco-path in the winter forest.
“To sport, as well as to love all ages yield surrender, therefore children up to 5 years, as well as people of the solid age will be able to participate in races. One and all skiers will receive the corresponding certificates, and winners in each group will gain diplomas and medals. Besides, we plan to present special awards to the youngest and the most senior participant of our competitions” — the head of the Feldman Ecopark Ski and Biathlon Club Svitlana Ilinskykh told.
It should be reminded that the Feldman Ecopark Ski and Biathlon Club was opened in October 2016. It is one of the most popular sports direction within the 1,000 Teams Tournament project. About 50 children aged from 7 up to 14 years train in the Club free of charge all year round. Since 2017, the special programme for children with special needs, including vision-impaired children and children with musculoskeletal disorders is being implemented here. Lessons take place 3 times a week in the territory of the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex Feldman Ecopark.
