This weekend, on April 22, the world will celebrate one of the most important holidays in the sphere of ecology — Mother Earth Day. Inhabitants of the world will meet this date by similar campaigns — people will express gratitude to our common house by planting trees and flowers, temporary or full refusal of a car, mass cleaning up activities and holding of exhibitions and conferences. Every year the Feldman Ecopark joins the world nature care movement and holds the events. This year the guests will participate in “Look out, Battery!” campaign which is planned for Sunday, April 23.
During the holiday small and adult visitors will be able to hand over the served batteries in specifically established point in the Ecopark. The characters of animated films and fairy tales will take “the retired batteries”. They will tell in intelligible playful way what consequences may happen if the battery gets into usual dumpster and will decompose in natural conditions.
The holiday programme includes informative quizzes, the interactive programme devoted to the Earth Day and the English Language Day and also the audience choice leader — adult game “5 letters”.
