New art objects appeared in the Feldman Ecopark by the opening of a spring season. They are made of eco-friendly material – straw, and represent the ungulates of the Regional Landscape Park. The sculptures of goat, sheep and horse welcome the guests and invite to the photo shoot. As for the live prototypes of new sculptures, it is possible to communicate with them in the petting zoo and in the Horse Complex. After the winter season, it started to work more actively and waits for young and adult visitors.
“We want to combine live and artificial nature in the Feldman Ecopark, when real animals and sculptures are in full harmony with the environment, arouse the interest and the attention of visitors to everything that is real,” the art director of the Feldman Art Park Karyna Kachurovska tells. “This creative form – representation of fauna with the help of natural materials (straw, twigs, leaves) – corresponds to our concept. Perhaps, the idea of creation of eco-sculptures will be used and developed by the participants of the second festival Feldman Art Park that will be held this summer.”
It should be reminded that within the framework of the cultural and educative festival Feldman Art Park that took place on October 2-30, 2015, the competition of young Ukrainian artists and sculptors was held. Over 1,000 authors under 35 from across Ukraine took part in the art-competition in three directions: painting, graphics, and sculpture. According to the results, 200 works by 105 artists and sculptors were selected to be exposed at the Feldman Art Park. The best participants got grants established by the International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation,” to have study courses in the prestigious European art residences. It is planned to continue this project this year.
