Three beavers found home in Feldman Ecopark

Three new beavers found their home in the Feldman Ecopark: boys Norbert and Daggie, and girl Marlin. All of them are near two years old. The beavers were given to the Regional Landscape Park by a private Ukrainian zoo.

“Rodents have already undergone all veterinary examinations, dehelmintization and ectoparasite treatment. The new residents are absolutely healthy and are not dangerous,” the vets of the Feldman Ecopark tell.

The new beavers are currently living in the temporary enclosure, however, a new spacious house is constructed for them. The beaver named Tasia will share the new home with Norbert, Daggie and Marlin. According to the words of vets, new animals will get on with Tasia, as there will be no reason for the rodents to quarrel: they will be provided with the spacious territory, pool, and material to build their burrows. The specialists promise that the favourite treats – acorns – will be added to the constant diet of beavers to keep them in good mood.

It should be reminded that month ago, Tasia was brought to the rehabilitation in the Feldman Ecopark within the framework of the program implemented by the All-Ukrainian Service for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home.” The animal was brought by volunteers. Tasia was caught into a trap of poachers. Despite all the efforts applyied by the vets of one of the private clinics, unfortunately, they didn’t manage to save one of Tasia’s legs. She cannot live in the wild life. In the Feldman Ecopark, she gets necessary attention of specialists, care and full-fledged care.
