Rescued white-tailed eagles found home in Feldman Ecopark

New feathered residents settled down in the Feldman Ecopark. One of the biggest birds of prey of Eurasia – white-tailed eagles – found their home in the Regional Landscape Park thanks to the specialists of the All-Ukrainian Service for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home.”

The couple of abandoned four-month nestlings has been found earlier by the residents of Kherson oblast. Their nest was swept away by the windstorm, and the kids were found by the locals on the ground. They’ve decided to take the nestlings, as they did not found their parents nearby. The white-tailed eagles were brought to the Feldman Ecopark Good Home as soon as possible.

The specialists will have to do a considerable work: they will become new parents for the nestlings.

“The kids have already undergone the main medical procedures: they got vitamin and medicines removing all parasites from their organisms. We have already prepared a comfortable enclosure for them, where they will find everything they need – space, water and food. The special diet has already been prepared for the kids. The main dish is a fresh fish, their favourite food in the nature,” the head of the birds sector of the Feldman Ecopark Volodymyr Perekhodovych tells.

It is already possible for the guests of the Ecopark are able to see these little predators – they live in one of birds enclosures located along the path to the Horse Complex.
