On the Regional Landscape Park’s main site on January 19 the prayer in honor of the Baptism of Jesus was held. Father Oleksandr of the Assumption Church in Solonitsevka held a church service and a sanctification of water.
The Feldman Ecopark’s guests could obtain baptismal water or consecrate the water they brought with themselves. Those one who did not take containers for water, were able to get it in bottles.
After completion of a church service, everyone went to the territory of Three Lakes in order to dip into the baptismal ice hole.

In Feldman Ecopark with identical attention treat traditions of different faiths, thereby showing that, despite distinctions in religious views, people can find understanding and treat each other with mutual respect”, – the director Feldman Ecopark Andrey Roshchupkin has noted.
This day additional free trips of company buses from Heroiv Truda and Derzhprom underground stations were organized for guests’ convenience.
