Feldman Ecopark will Celebrate International Crane Day

International Crane Day will be the main topic for the entertaining and educational programme in Feldman Ecopark this weekend.

“The first ancestors of these beautiful birds appeared on Earth as far back as in the age of the dinosaurs, nearly 40-60 million years ago. The population of cranes is currently widely spread all over the world. At all times, cranes were much respected by people, and a lot of traditions and legends are connected with them. This weekend, we invite the visitors to the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex to get to know some of them, and to spend time cheerfully and usefully,” the organizers of the festivities tell.

On Saturday, September 7, it will be possible to take part in a mini-master-class devoted to the creation of paper cranes with the help of Japanese origami technique starting at 10.30 a.m. The family game programmes will start at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. The Theatre of Children and Animals will stage its Cheerful Kaleidoscope at 11.30 a.m. Meanwhile, a mini-disco with cartoon heroes will be waiting for the youngest visitors at 12.30 p.m. and 2.30 p.m.

On Sunday, September 8, it will be also possible to attend a paper crane creation mini-master-class. The Theatre of Children and Animals will perform Forest School (starting at 11 a.m.) and Cheerful Kaleidoscope at 11.30 a.m. A thematic game programme Zhuravushka will start at the main location of Feldman Ecopark at noon, while an interactive lecture with an interesting quiz Ecopark’s Cranes will start at 1 p.m. Mini-disco and game programme for the little visitors to Feldman Ecopark will start at 2 p.m.
