On Saturday, October 8, the grandiose opening of the 5th Chrysanthemum Ball took place in Feldman Ecopark. The specialists planted 30 thousand bushes specially to an anniversary parade of autumn flowers. Not only the widest scale of shades of chrysanthemums, but also a rich cultivar assortment pleased the eye of the guests – more than 60 sorts were presented in the Ecopark. All bright beauties were grown up by the Ukrainian and West European collectors especially for a floral festival Feldman Ecopark.
Except flower compositions which decorated each corner of the Regional Landscape Park the florists also worked on creation of flower sculptures. More than ten huge compositions in the shape of: monkeys, hares, bears, pigs, deers, turtles and ladybirds – decorated the photos of our guests. By organizers’ design the huge chrysanthemum heart became a highlight of a flower festival, this romantic corner of the Ecopark will surely inspire lovers to express their feelings and even to make proposal.
The best florists of Ukraine made flower masterpieces. The florist used nearly a thousand single-flowered chrysanthemums for each of them. Due to special refinement the compositions will be able to please guests for several weeks.
“The Chrysanthemum Ball is not just a fest, this is the event of All-Ukrainian scale which is known and eagerly await, therefore the double responsibility is put on us, – the People’s Deputy of Ukraine and the Ecopark’s founder Oleksandr Feldman noted. – Every year our florists invent new and new art compositions, striking with the width of their thoughts and surprising fulfillment of the idea. All team tried for the sake of one: to arrange for the residents of Ukraine free family rest and give them possibility to enjoy life paints about which we often forget in daily vanity”.
The Chrysanthemum Ball opened with a big entertainment program. The guests were entertained by playful mimes, living statues and characters from fairy tales. The visitors enjoyed flower masterpieces by touching and incendiary compositions of children’s vocal studios of Kharkiv. Besides, the club of the ancient dance “Evental” showed wonderful choreographic numbers, and the team of historical reconstruction “Prince” struck the guests with improbable show numbers. The actors of the Horse Complex and the Theatre of Children and Animals brought special charm to the festive program, having shown the best tricks with four-footed stars Feldman Ecopark.
Let’s remind that the Chrysanthemum Ball is a flower festival which was initiated by the People’s Deputy of Ukraine, the famous patron and the founder Feldman Ecopark Oleksandr Feldman. The flower festival managed to become a tourist highlight of the Kharkiv region. Annually the festival represents floral compositions of unique species and sorts. The first Chrysanthemum Ball was carried out in the Ecopark in 2012. Specially to it specialists planted 5 thousand bushes, the same quantity of flowers was presented on the second Ball, in 2013. In the 2014th Feldman Ecopark pleased the guests with 9 thousand chrysanthemums, and in the 2015th – 25 thousand. This year is a history record of the Ball’s existence: 30 thousand chrysanthemums were planted especially for this event.
