The main event of autumn – the Chrysanthemum Ball in Feldman Ecopark – started on previous weekend in the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex. The flower festival was decorated by compositions from 40,000 chrysanthemums of 25 species. Along with animal sculptures and characters from fairy tales, the florists created the globe from chrysanthemums and many other things.
Numerous guests, only in the Chrysanthemum Ball opening their number exceeded 100,000, with pleasure took photos against the background of such bright and unique exposition. Not only Kharkiv residents were among visitors of a holiday in Feldman Ecopark. Specially to this milestone event residents of the neighboring regions – Poltava, Donetsk, Luhansk and Dnipro oblast arrived.
The Chrysanthemum Ball opening in Feldman Ecopark has been coincided with the Teachers’ Day, which is celebrated on the first Sunday of October. “When there idea of the Chrysanthemum Ball conduction arose, it was decided to date such bright holiday for the Teachers’ Day — the Ukrainian MP, the patron Oleksandr Feldman noted. — My mother was also a teacher, and I know what difficult work it is. This day, I want to convey sincere thanks to all those who raised us and raise children – to our teachers, and I heartily congratulate them on this holiday”.
Certainly, the Chrysanthemum Ball in Feldman Ecopark hasn’t done without music performed by soloists and a symphonic orchestra at the pavilion near the Swan Lake. In the territory of the Horse Complex and in the Theatre of Children and Animals presented thematic performances coincided with the main event of this autumn.
The Chrysanthemum Ball in Feldman Ecopark will last as long as the weather permits – about a month — the organizers hope.
