A stray dog knocked down by a car in Chuhuiv oblast undergoes rehabilitation in the Centre for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home”. Caring people rescued the dog and brought to animal protection activists.
“The driver knocked down a dog and left it dying on a roadside. The animal has been there for two days, until it was accidentally found and picked up — the volunteers told. — A doggie was loaded in the taxi and brought to the veterinary hospital for an X-ray – it had pelvic fracture and numerous hematomas. After that the dog was brought to Feldman Ecopark Good Home — we know that the specialists will take care of the animal”.
In the Centre for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home” named the injured dog — Tosha. Recently, the animal underwent major surgery (fastened broken femoral bone with a metal plate). A long rehabilitation is ahead, but veterinarians have a positive forecast: there is a hope that after some time Tosha will be able to walk on all four paws.
It should be reminded that in Feldman Ecopark Good Home already underwent rehabilitation dogs with limb and spinal injuries. For example, for Stephen and Aina, special wheelchair strollers were designed.
It should also be reminded that since its establishment, the Centre for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home” managed to rescue more than 6,000 wild animals and find new owners to nearly 22,000 domestic ones. The project is implemented under the patronage of International Charitable Foundation “Alexander Feldman Foundation.”
