This year, Feldman Ecopark launches the range of projects on conservation of biodiversity in cooperation with its West European partners.
This was discussed during the Amsterdam meeting of the representatives of the Feldman Ecopark and the workers of Artis (Amsterdam zoo), general curator János Szánthó and strategic curator Warren Spencer.
During the meeting, the European specialists shared the modern ways of zoo maintenance and the experience of animal care.
The counterparts from the Artis Royal Zoo welcomed the desire of the Feldman Ecopark to join the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA), the largest organization of the European zoos.
The Artis Royal Zoo is the oldest Dutch zoo (founded in 1838). The zoo is the member of the EAZA and the WAZA (World Association of Zoos and Aquariums).
