The romantic happy end took place in the Feldman Ecopark: an amazing couple of the rescued gray wolves Dasha and Jadge gave birth to a strong and charming breed. Four ‘boys’ were born.
One-and-a-half-month wolf cubs are very active and curious. Everyone is able to watch their funny games – the kids live with their mother in the open enclosure.
“The wolves’ health is wonderful. Their physical condition does not cause concern: the kids are active and eat well, they taste meat with pleasure. They have already undergone dehelmintization, and are expecting their first vaccination, which is to be carried out soon,” the Feldman Ecopark’s veterinary Kostiantyn Latvinskyi told.
The wolves Dasha and Jadge were united by a difficult destiny – the animals were rescued by the specialists of the All-Ukrainian Service for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home.” Dasha, the she-wolf, was a kid when she was found in one of the forests of Kharkiv region and passed to the skilled specialists of the Feldman Ecopark. She was not able to take care of herself and find food. Jadge was taken away from negligent owners by the officers of the border guard service when he was two months old. The wolf cub was directed to a private zoo of Mezhyhirya. The “owners” wanted to crossbreed it with a dog in order to use it for hunting. Fortunately, the worker of Kyiv zoo, biologist Serhii Hryhoriev heard about a wolf. After taking care of a cub, he brought Jadge to the Ecopark.
