Ukrainian MP and the Honorary President of the PJSC “AVEC Concern and Co.” Oleksandr Feldman and the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Ukraine Yönet Can Tezel met in Kyiv to discuss the issues connected with the support of Turkish entrepreneurs and manufacturers taking into consideration the diplomatic tension between Turkey and Russia.
Under the conditions of the export restriction for Turkish goods in Russia, Ukrainian market may become an efficient compensator for economic losses of Turkey. Moreover, the reorientation of trade flows to Ukraine will be advantageous in the long run for both Ukrainian entrepreneurs, and consumers.
“The Barabashovo Trading Centre has a long history of cooperation with Turkish entrepreneurs and manufacturers. Today, Barabashovo is ready to provide Turkish partners with warehouse services and sales premises. This is the additional opportunity for many our entrepreneurs to establish closer business contacts with Turkey,” Mr. Feldman noted.
During the meeting, they also discussed the question of the organization of a large-scale trade fair for Turkish goods that may become a noticeable commercial event in Ukraine.
