“Open Heart” is the volunteer project of the Feldman Ecopark Centre for Psychosocial Rehabilitation, inviting everyone to participate in it. First, according to the head of the psychological service, Tetiana Aliieva, here we wait for students and cadets of higher education institutions of profile specialties, future psychologists and psychotherapists, but we will be glad to see everyone who wants to help and is ready to study. The volunteers will be able to participate in training master classes on the application of the animal therapy in work of multidisciplinary experts as well as in educational lectures and practical workshops on the application of inclusive lessons with children with special needs.
“Our Centre realizes fifteen projects covering the most different directions on the basis of the Social and Humanitarian Complex. We apply extensive and integrated methods of animal therapy, including Canis therapy and equine- assisted therapy, for psychocorrectional guiding of children with special needs, deviant forms of behavior, traumatic experience. Children’s, parental and family groups of psychological support are created, the eco-therapeutic work with the families of IDPs and ATO veterans is conducted, the field classes in specialized children’s institutions are given — Tetiana Aliieva told. – We intend to impart knowledge and experience with everyone who wants to take part in this work and is ready to become the volunteer of the Open Heart project. It should also be reminded that the Centre for Psychosocial Rehabilitation was opened in Feldman Ecopark in 2013. It renders assistance to children and adults, including the families of IDPs and ATO veterans. During this time, 6,300 persons, including 1,900 children, underwent rehabilitation in the Centre.
