Children aged 10-16 may become the students of this school. The education is free of charge. The lessons are given in the Feldman Ecopark twice a week (Saturday and Sunday). In the school of the Theatre of Children and Animals, it is possible to attend lessons of acting, to master humane training, and even to learn how to love and understand animals. Young artists, performing regularly for numerous audiences, learn to master their fear of big audience. And their four-footed and feathery partners – pigeons, rabbits, ferrets, pigs, goats, alpacas and many other animals of the Feldman Ecopark help them to do this. In addition to practical skills, the great attention in the educational process is paid to scientific work. The profound study of animals’ behaviour, the participation in conferences and competitions, walking tours and excursions not only broaden the outlook, but also lay the foundation of the future profession choice, prepare for entrance to the specifically-oriented higher educational institutions.
It should be reminded that the Theatre of Children and Animals works for over 3 years. This is one of the most interesting directions of the Club of Young Naturalists of the Feldman Ecopark. Near 40 children are currently studying here. These children have become the participants and the winners of prestigious national and international competitions many times.
