The marathon of entertainments devoted to main winter holidays – New Year and Christmas – came to an end in Feldman Ecopark. The special nonstop program was prepared for ther adult and young guests to take place during more than a week.
The Ecopark’s main present was the series of excursions and shows titled the New Year’s vernisage. The walks along the Christmas stable, rides on sleigh harnessed with donkeys and sled dogs, the performances by the leading horse riders and artists of the Theatre of Children and Animals helped the guests to find themselves in the epicenter of winter fairy tale and to believe in miracles.
During Christmas, the visitors of Feldman Ecopark were able to watch Koliada: people dressed up according to the ancient Ukrainian tradition sang ritual songs and led a goat, the symbol of fertility and wealth. The guests took part in this beautiful rite with pleasure, and even sang the favorite Christmas song themselves. For their activity, the participants of the holiday got sweet presents.
“It is no secret that New Year is a happy holiday from the childhood. It is awaited by children expecting to find a cherished present under the decorated Christmas tree. During this time, adults also plunge bravely into their children’s memories, wait for the magic and miss no opportunity to make the dearest wish during a chime of bells. As for us, we tried to keep this incredible atmosphere: from bright decorations to impressive shows with fairy-tale stories and ritual theatrical performances. We hope very much that those smiles on the faces of our guests during these New Year’s holidays will stay with them for the whole year. It should be reminded that the New Year’s vernisage program is extended till the Old New Year (the Julian calendar New Year). Therefore, everyone will be able to watch the performances with the participation of the best specialists of soft training of animals of Feldman Ecopark on January 15, from 12 noon to 1 p.m.
