Now, we are able to see the new hoofed actor on the stage of the Theatre of Children and Animals Feldman Ecopark. The four-month roe Lika-Lucky which was artificially brought up by the Ecopark’s veterinarians three months ago learns the actor’s diploma. The youngling is already able to give a pad by a command and to waltz. However, it shows the first scenic achievements only to children spending vacation at the summer camp Feldman Ecopark. The guests will see her emergence in a performance not earlier than fall when the Theatre prepares a new premiere. But already now the roe together with all actors willingly comes to the curtain call at the end of the performance and communicates with the audience.
“Our Lika-Lakki is very sociable girl not causing dismay at all: eats well, obeys and always searches for the company of a person — the fact that it is rescued and brought up by people has an effect” — the head of the Theatre of children and animals of the Feldman Ecopark Elena Harazhina tells.
Lika-Lucky was brought in the Feldman Ecopark by the visitors. At that time the newborn was just one month old. At first the girl was brought up by our veterinarians. And when she got stronger and began to eat independently, the young naturalists of the Theatre of children and animals undertook the roe’s upbringing. By the way, this is the first wild animal which entered the theatre-goers family.
Right there the newcomer received a double name. People who brought the roe to the park wanted the animal to be called Lucky but the users of social networks insisted on the name Lika. Thus the roe became lucky Lika. From English the word “lucky” is translated as “happy”.
Lika-Lucky was lodged with local alpacas who gladly accepted it as a full-fledged member of the herd. Friendly bonds have developed to such a point that alpacas sometimes refuse coming on the stage without young roe.
Well, it’s certainly a first: the alpacas could come on the stage at any time before. Now, if there is no Lika-Lucky nearby, they deliberately balk and whimper, looking back at the girlfriend which remained behind the scenes” — Elena Harazhina laughs.
The roe is being fed separately from friends: it has personal children’s diet. For lunch Lika-Lucky has mixed vegetables. Besides, the young naturalists continue to feed the ward from a small bottle with fresh-gathered milk.
Persons interested to get acquainted with charming Lika-Lucky can visit the performances of the Theatre of children and animals any weekend. Performances are held on Saturdays and Sundays, at noon.
