During the weekend, March 19 and 20, the Feldman Ecopark celebrated the International Day of Happiness, and devoted several theme events to this date.
In order to determine the real source of joy, the guests tried rose-coloured glasses on, gave interview about things meaning real happiness for them, and learned to save the nature. “To live in harmony with the environment and to protect with awe every element of it – whether it is a flower or a butterfly – this is the happiness for the whole planet,” the organizers explain their idea, timing this action to the Earth Day as well.
By the way, the special attention was paid to the nature conservation topic: the visitors hunted “flower poachers” with cameras. The organizers declared that gathering of primroses is prohibited in the Ecopark, and those who will try to damage the plants risk being photographed by nature defenders.
“The Regional landscape park makes the visitors glad not only with the wide collection of animals, everyone may also see the wonderful blossoming of various plants, grown by us and created tenderly by the nature, like snowdrops,” tells the Director of the Feldman Ecopark Andrii Roshchupkin. “Unfortunately, many people forget that these plants are in the Red List as vanishing species. Our task is to show both adults and children that it is not necessary to pick primroses to enjoy their beauty. You may photograph or paint them, You may admire them in the forest, where they will make everyone glad with their beauty for a longer period of time than in the vases!”
The weekly parade of animals also pleased the guests with the unforgettable moments of happiness: camels, goats, rabbits, alpacas and ponies not just walked along the main path of the Feldman Ecopark, the visitors were able to stroke them and to make memorable photo with any of them. The guests were also able to take part in the competitions with pleasant prizes.
