This weekend, on January 14 and 15, the Feldman Ecopark prepares for the guests a mixture of good mood for treating postfestive melancholy and cold-related diseases – the grandiose celebration of the Old New Year and the World Snow Day will take place in the Ecopark.
The sowing ceremony will become the main element of this holiday: since old times it’s the Old New Year’s custom to let men in the house first. They will be able to cover the main Ecopark’s ground with grain, to sing ceremonial songs and to receive mementoes for it.
And on Sunday, January 15, in Feldman Ecopark the “Snow triathlon” will be arranged for the guests. The organizers will carry out a special marathon for the World Snow Day. This day the visitors will be able to try hand at such tournaments: “snow darts” (the snowball quoits), “cheerful bobsleigh” (downhill sledge racing) and “a coward doesn’t have much of a belly for fighting” (non-standard hockey with use of two clubs and two washers).
Besides, all weekend the guests will be amused by a New Year’s karaoke, dancing flashmobs and learning games “Who What Is” and “Tit’s tail”.
Also this is the last chance for visitors to see the New Year’s shows from the Theatre of Children and Animals and the Horse Complex in this season. The performances will take place on January 15, from 12:00 till 13:00. After the performances our guests are awaited for interactive games with animals, excursions to the stable and sledding harnessed burros and dogs.
