The meeting of the representatives of the Feldman Ecopark with the EAZA Accreditation Coordinator April Adams and the Animal Welfare Training Officer Sally Binding took place in the headquarters of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria in Amsterdam.
One of the main topics of the agenda was the discussion of the way of the Feldman Ecopark’s joining the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria.
During the negotiations, they outlined the cooperation plans directed at the research of certain species, at the trainings carried out by the EAZA experts for the Feldman Ecopark’s workers.
The European Association of Zoos and Aquaria is the largest organization linking over 340 member zoos and aquaria in 41 countries.
The EAZA gives the necessary teaching and learning support to the Feldman Ecopark.
