Winners of children’s competitions in five-a-side “A tournament of 1000 teams” of a season of 2015-16 holding within the project of the International Charitable Foundation “Alexander Feldman’s Fund” go on August 7 to a trip to Bulgaria.
Teams of boys from Kupyansk and girls from Krasnograd and Krasnogradsky district will spend 10 days at one of the best resorts of the Sunny Beach in a zone with the unique, conducing health improvement climate. Children will live in a comfortable hotel on the seashore in which all conditions for rest, health improvement and sports activities are provided. Also for them informative sightseeing excursions of Bulgaria will be organized.
“It is an excellent award to young football players for progress in sports activities. For years of existence of the Tournament his winners visited Great Britain, Germany, Poland and other countries. And “A Tournament of 1000 teams” already became the hallmark of the Kharkiv district”, – the project manager “A tournament of 1000 teams” Andrey Stronov emphasized.
We will note that from the beginning of new academic year the next season of the Tournament starts.
“The five-a-side tournament of 1000 teams” is held since 2001. It was the Ukraine’s first large-scale project directed to revival of mass sport for children and young people. Competitions always enjoyed wide popularity: in seven years more than 1 million school students aged from 10-12 years took part in them. Football Federation of Ukraine brought the Tournament in the official calendar, and UEFA recognized as the largest children’s football competitions in Europe, having provided to Ukraine the five-star status within the Charter of grassroots football.
Now “A tournament of 1000 teams” is the project uniting different types of sport on the basis of Regional Landscape Park “Feldman Ecopark”. The trainings and competitions in five-a-side football, table tennis, volleyball, streetball, skiing, to cycle races, cross-country run, different types of gymnastics, chess and other sports are held within the project.
