With the establishment of warm weather, everyone wants to spend more time outdoors, and the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex prepared for this long weekend an entertaining programme to fit any taste. It was possible not only to spend time cheerfully together with the family and friends, but also to remember the rules of behaviour – how not do harm to yourself and the nature.
How to behave in order to prevent the onset of emergency situation and what to do in case of its onset, Feldman Ecopark arranged a campaign “Let’s Make the Life Safe,” which was carried out on April 29 and was arranged together with the Main Administration of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv oblast.
By attending the mobile exhibition installed at the central path of Feldman Ecopark by the Emergency Service officers, the visitors were able not only to watch how the gear used by rescuers works, but also to hold it in hands and even to try the uniform on, and find out how to be a real professional. The campaign was joined by the dog handlers with search and rescue animals representing the organization “Shield.” They demonstrated the amazing skills and training of the animals, which find people in heaps.
Moreover, during the weekend, the visitors to Feldman Ecopark learned how to dance polka, and then everyone performed this old and fiery dance together. However, really on fire was the dancing school “Salsa Loca,” which created a furore among the visitors under the hot Latin rhythms.
As for those visitors, who prefer muscle-strengthening sports, they were able to demonstrate their skills at the weight lifting competitions. It may seem strange, but among the men, who decided to conquer cast-iron apparatus, there was a woman, who demonstrated that she is far from being weak.
On May 1, Feldman Ecopark carried out a cheerful championship in hopscotch and other traditional yard game. Moreover, everyone also were able to take part in the giant games – finger football and space basketball.
Last weekend was also remarked with the start of the bicycle season, which was opened on April 28 with the children’s amateur bicycle race “Zhuk” arranged under the support of Feldman Ecopark in the territory of Art-Picnic. The first ones to start the Zhuk bicycle race were the athletes under 2. Together with the races of young cyclists of different age categories (under 12), the organizers also prepared races for mothers and fathers. According to the organizers, the next Zhuk bicycle race in Feldman Ecopark will take place on June 1, the Children’s Day.
Moreover, the run bike races for the little boys and girls took place at all paths of Feldman Ecopark every day of the weekend. The winners were awarded with memorable prizes – the toys. The other participants of competitions left the paths with gifts as well. It should be noted that Feldman Ecopark has already opened the bicycle rental and is currently preparing to open the Crazy Bikes track, which is located in the picturesque place by the lake. “As there was almost no spring this year, and the long snowy winter was changed with the hot weather, the preparation of the track still continues. However, the competitions are already planned for the end of May,” the organizers say.
